I was 9 years old when I first developed severe cystic acne. I spent the next 24 years doing everything to my skin & body that I could find. Dawn M. Sears, LME opened Skinsation, llc, a medical skin care and aesthetic laser center, in April 1999. Before opening Skinsation, Dawn spent 10 years in the medical arena. Six of which were spent as a surgical assistant, and what eventually led to her interest in medical aesthetics… along with the memory of a horrendous case of teenage acne, which she says, “I will never forget”! Dawn is committed to the highest standards in patient care. Her major goal in any treatment is 1] to listen and 2] educate her patients – as she feels that is key to obtaining results. “By helping people understand the “what, why and how” with their particular concern, they are more apt and able to “do” what is required to see some satisfaction at the end of the road”.
Dawn’s genuine love and concern for people is ever-present. That love spills over into the surrounding community by giving back in such ways as donations to charities, offering her time with various benefits, as well as her own program for giving … Heart to Heart.

All office visits are by appointment.
Consultations at Skinsation, llc are always complimentary!
Payment is expected at the time of service.
Types of payment accepted are: cash, debit card, MC, Visa, Amex
Insurance carriers do not cover our services as they are considered to be elective and/or cosmetic.
Adolescent Patients: If your child is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the child to their first appointment. If your child arrives without a parent or legal guardian present, their appointment will be rescheduled.
Missed Appointment and Cancellation Policy: In today's hectic world unplanned issues come up for all of us. However, we respectfully request that you cancel your scheduled appointment by phone within a minimum of 24 hours in advance so we may offer your appointment time to someone on our waiting list. For service appointments, if you do not cancel by the deadline, your account will be assessed a $50.00 missed appointment fee. This fee is your responsibility to pay. Our aim is to open otherwise unused appointments for our patients, not to collect missed appointment fees. Your cooperation and consideration are appreciated as we institute this policy.
